QMetrics was founded by Suzan Mora Dalen more than 19 years ago – Valentines Day, February 14, 2006. Suzan saw an opportunity to apply her knowledge in Quality Improvement & HEDIS® auditing along with her passion to bring actionable solutions to clients.
In 2016, Jim began assisting with his programming expertise and became QMetrics second unofficial staff person. As solo-operated company for 12 years, QMetrics experienced its greatest growth over the last 5 years and has since grown 2,000% achieving a State and National footprint in the Quality, Surveys, Audit, and Consulting space.
QMetrics is a managed health care and consultancy firm offering tactical and strategic solutions. We have performed hundreds of HEDIS®, performance and data validation audits. We work with over 20 health plans to conduct a combination of regulatory required and customized surveys. We provide solutions optimizing performance with proven results. Our team treats our customers as family and friends, and we are dedicated to delivering the highest level of service and transparency. QMetrics is a virtual office with a home base in San Diego, CA.

In its colloquial use, ganas represents an unyielding drive, a tenacious and disciplined pursuit of one’s aspirations. It embodies grit, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to achieving a goal, no matter the obstacles. For me, ganas is not just about wanting something; it is about taking sustained, focused action to make it a reality. It is the determination to push forward, to refuse to take “no” for an answer, and to rise to any challenge with resilience and purpose.
